Costs & Inclusions

The cost of this mostly all-inclusive five day (six night) retreat is $1200 Australian dollars per person.  For the June 2012 retreat, the facilitators must confirm and pay for the B&B component of the group booking by 1 April 2012.

Therefore, interested participants are asked to book and pay a $300 deposit prior to 30 March 2012. The balance of $900 is due by 1 May 2012.  This can be paid in full or in two instalments. Account details will be provided at the time of booking.

You are advised to take out travel insurance to secure your deposit and all subsequent payments in the event of illness or other misfortune.  Cancellation after 1 May 2012 will result in the loss of your deposit unless you are able to find someone else to take your place.  Cancellations by participants within 30 days of the start of the retreat will result in forfeiture of 50% of the full cost of the retreat because facilitators are required to pay for some components of the retreat in advance.

If for any reason the retreat is cancelled by the facilitators, your deposit and or balance paid will be refunded in full.  Travel cost will not be refunded, therefore, travel insurance is vitally important.

Currently, return airfares between Perth and Bali are very available and cheap.   This is subject to change at any time. We are asking participants to arrive no later than 2 pm on Thurs, 21 June or the day before (Wed, 20 ).  If you arrive on Wed, 20 June or depart on Fri, 29 June to chase available airfares, additional nights accommodation are at your own expense.  You can contact Pondok Saraswati direct (via bookings on their website found in 'Favorite Links' within this WIB website) to make a separate booking. Extra nights are subject to availabilty. We are happy to assist with this.

An arrival visa (approx $A28) is payable before you pass through custom.  Departure tax is also payable before you proceed to the departure gates as you leave Bali - currently R150,000 ($A18).  You are strongly asvised to take out travel insurance to cover medical emergencies and other unforseen events. Pondok and our facilitators do not have special insureance to cover your losses.  You will also need some spending money.

At the time of writing, the exchange rates were around: $1 Aussie dollar to 9,000 rupee.
